Supported Living & Complex Care

Our Supported Living and Complex Care division is led by Jonathan Webb, who has over 25 years of experience in delivering all levels of personal, individualised person-centred services, to clients requiring these types of services, both through private agreements and for local authority-funded clients.

At Goldleaf, our ethos is to go ‘above and beyond,’ where care means more to us than simply providing practical support with the activities of daily living. We work with our clients, their families, their loved ones, their advocates, and other health and social care professionals, to provide a wide range of care and support, to allow individuals to live the lifestyles they want, maintaining their independence, with dignity and respect, to meet their personal, domestic, emotional, and social care needs, however challenging or complex. We appreciate that no two people are the same, and so our services need to be responsive with the ability to adapt and change as the needs of our clients do.

Since 2020, and throughout the Pandemic, we have expanded and further developed our services to meet the needs of individuals who required supported and/or assisted living care and support, companionship, stimulation through activities, accessing the community, budgeting, financial management, maintaining healthy lifestyles, and a range of care and support for people with more challenging or complex needs. This includes people with learning disabilities, people suffering from addictions, people with mental health needs, and people with more complex care needs, who have conditions such as acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and those who display complex and challenging behaviours, which may otherwise result in them living in more secure accommodation.

Our specially trained support workers are very experienced in caring for and supporting a wide range of people with differing levels of need. They are trained in identifying specific ‘triggers’ and in de-escalation techniques that make it safe for families to maintain relationships with individuals who sometimes display violent or aggressive behaviours, and for the wider general public when out in the Community. Our detailed care and support assessments allow us to identify and deliver effective, safe care and support to those with even the most challenging behaviours, providing a high standard and quality of life that everyone deserves, no matter what their needs, but are not given an opportunity to have. That is why we passionately believe that our care and support really is the ‘Gold Standard.’

If you are looking for a high-quality care provider; one who has the knowledge, experience, and resource, to not only meet but to exceed expectations in delivering the very best care and support to individuals with low, medium, and high needs, however challenging or complex, then why not contact us today to speak to one of our expert consultants and see the difference for yourself.
